Getting my secondary role way more than primary role????

My secondary role is mid btw (and main role is adc).

In the past 10 games, 6 of those have been mid, and 4 of those have been adc. I got my role more with the old system (pick order).

I honestly don't understand how this new system is supposed to work, but I thought primary role was supposed to have priority over secondary? This doesn't seem like it's the case.

Are there any solo queuers with the same problem? I'm pretty sure Riot prefers to give duos or dynamic queue people their primary role instead of solo queuers, and as a result, solo queuers always get secondary.

I switched it to adc/jungle and my next 3 games and I got adc once, jg once, and support twice (one of them I dodged). Luckily, someone let me adc one of the times I got support. I seriously don't understand this system. It's heavily flawed towards dynamic queues and duos.

Same thing happening to me with solo queue, I play adc/jg, and if I swap my preferences, I still more often get my second choice.

You could just be suffering from the law of large numbers.

This happens often. IDK why, but it does.
