Yasuo Question
How could Riot make Yasuo's kit work without having his double crit passive?

How could Riot make Yasuo's kit work without having his double crit passive?
There's not much point in removing his double crit: it's pretty iconic and in general good design.
Huge issue with melee ADCs and a good number of assassins in LoL like Tryndamere, Yi, and Rengar is that they're terrible at team-fighting but amazing at killing towers, so they just back-door 24/7 by putting their AA steroids to use against towers.
Another issue of such champions is that their early AA steroids in AD/AS offer a really awkward power-curve in early game. At levels 12 they're extremely strong: but at level 56 their lack of QWER burst tends to cause them to fall off pretty substantially for a weak early game overall.
Yasou's crit steroid circumvents both issues a typical AD or AS steroid would provide: as Towers cannot be critically struck, and his crit steroid is essentially useless early game offering a smoother power-curve overall. Yasou's crit steroid also has the added advantage of removing a lot of RNG from the game: seeing as Yasou's crits are much more reliable and predictable, placing greater emphasis on skill when playing as, with, or against a Yasou rather than emphasizing luck.
Explain why it's not working
Just wondering how its working, and how they else they could make it work.
Buff his numbers on Q or E I guess, that and/or giving him more steroids on his W/R
His double crit passive is just his form of steroid to aid in his DPS, they could have moved it elsewhere in the kit or gave him a different one
They can't, that's why he even has it.
Kindred have their dumb ultimate for the same reason, their kit wouldn't work without it...

Assuming his kit wouldn't be much different?
They'd give him just as much more damage as crits do, if not more. For example Steel Tempest would most likely have around 2.0 AD ratio.
Immediate result? He'd get stronger much sooner.
Probably a scaling ratio though, Riot has been doing that a lot more lately with champion designs.
Scaling ratio means he needs to build damage to deal damage. Total ratio means he will get more powerful with levels, than simply with items.
