Could someone give me a quick rundown on why Tristana is meta now

-Caitlyn got nerfed -Ie and zeal items got cheaper -DPS got more important over burst and utility (why jhin and ashe are gone) -Synnergizes really well with Janna- the strongest ardent censer user

She's the safest of the super dps focused carries which makes her the best in a world where the team with the adc thast doies the most damage wins

I'd say it's a few things

1. Kinda the same case as Ahri's prevailance earlier this season: Everyone else got nerf so X champion who has been untouched shines. Jhin isn't dicking on people with his 4th shot and lethality builds. Caitlyn isn't around as much to bully her with range. Draven, while still having his stupid early game damage, his power spikes are a bit less oppressive due to the slight more amount of time it takes. Lucian is busy being a dick in the mid lane. Vayne hasn't received her customary buffs that will later be nerfed. The list goes on, but Tristana has been untouched compared to a lot of other marksmen. She's always been the same hypercarry, but everyone else receiving nerfs, especially the champions that give her issues brought to light "hey, maybe Trist needs some nerfs"

2. Supports right now are heavily based on "protecting the carry" especially hyper carries like Jinx, Twitch, and of course, Tristana. The difference setting Trist apart from her hyper carry brethren? She has the best self peel and mobility among the hyper carries. The current situation with Ardent supports and Janna running around heavily favors hyper carries. Enter someone who is also such a carry that has some escapes and self peel, and if she can't protect herself, the support will. And if the support can't, she will.
