Why the /remake feature needs to be changed

So too many times we run into people who disconnect right as the game begins. Thankfully we now have a remake feature that is basically a "get out of jail free card" for the 4 other people on the team. This is actually a great step in the right direction but I'd like to address a couple things i find to be unfair.

  1. Remaking the match when someone is in promos or at 0 LP will demote you to a lower league, or cause you to lose 1 series during promotion. That being said if the opposing team remakes during a series you will win that match for your promotion.

  2. For me personally i feel like the "remake at 3 minutes is a tad bit unfair. Recently i randomly disconnected right as the game loaded and when i logged back into the game, literally as soon as i got in my teammates voted to /remake.

So overall the changes i personally would like to see is that the remake feature be truly 100% be a remake game where you dont get penalized by losing a match in your series and where you dont get demoted because of an afk team mate, also i personally feel like the remake time should be extended a little bit so you it gives you enough time to come back into the game if you get a bug splat. if your internet disconnects, or if your computer decides to restart.

Completely in agreement; I logged on to play my first game in a month and I'm sitting at 15 LP, now granted I know playing ranked after a month long break it's pretty frowned up but ayy lmao. But my computer is pretty shit, and it takes me a while to load in but it's usually not too long. But I ended up loading into the game at 3 minutes and my team had already /Remake 'd and I'd lost 19 Lp for being 20 seconds late; ridiculous, really.
