I just don't like garens W, getting 50 armor and mr for nothing kinda seems a little bullshit, his passive is annoying but only becomes bullshit after 11

Until level 11 he basically has no passive. Compared to other juggernauts who have a better type of aggressive healing, his forces him back to possibly miss minions or exp. Don't get me wrong, once he gets level 11 it's a massive jump but until then it's not that bad.

At that point it would've been faster to back and walk to lane, it's not the champs fault you cant gain a CS or tower platting advantage in that time. Unless your playing against riste you don't have much to worry about with the typically large amount of knockbacks/cc and slows to counter him late-game especially if hes not fed and you can force him play that safe.

A single damage ability will knock off the passive for like 10 secs as well, I guess you might prefer if he had in combat sustain like illaoi, renek, darius, aatrox.

It's almost like you didn't hit him and let him walk away for 30 seconds or something. Maybe not let him do that next time?

This is only true once hes level like 16. It would take him forever to get from 10hp to full in laning phase, during which you can just hit him once, unless hes zoning himself off XP and Gold freely, in which case he should have recalled and walked back to lane.

its shit tier before lvl 11, not relevant until lvl 16.

you want garens passive? you can literally just buy it on any champion

if i could get passive on him, id trade it in an instant.
