all you have to do in top lane now , is pick a tank champion or a juggeurnaut . builld cleaver and tanky items ... and of course have resolve
the "outplays" happen only on mid lane now ... because there is no reason to outplay nobody on top (as a tank champion) just walk away while getting "dmg"

jungle role can determine your lane singlehandedly and there is nothing u can do about it and its just that sad
my laning phase depends on if the enemy jungler wants me to have fun or not.
he can sit in my bush for 2 minutes and shove me off every wave possible, go back to his jungler and still catch up to my jungler who has been afk farming all while i fall behind.
shit is depressing beyond belief
im 8 days free of playing summoners rift only playing bots and aram for first win and ive never been happier.
my role is dogshit and riot doesnt care.

All I ever see on these boards are people bitching about things that don't matter to 90% of the player base, and will be fixed via either riot patch or natural meta shift,
Tanks will be displaced by tank shredding adcs and then assassins will be big again..

). Most ranged tops have issues dealing with you once you're in melee range, so it's important that you know your damage against them. Gnar is tough to deal with later, but is extremely fragile in his first few levels, so you can first blood him if you catch him off guard. Teemo is a bitch to deal with, but his blind doesn't negate your ability burst, and he relies on mushrooms to kill you, which you can avoid by popping a control ward when you're going for a kill. Against Kennen, you need mercs early so he can't just stun and walk away, and aside from that you'll be fine if you don't give up free kills. Vayne is a skill match up, pure and simple; neither of you have kill potential in regular laning, but it can go either way fast in an all in. Vlad has no kill potential on you before he gets items and levels, but can be hard to kill; call in jungler backup. Jayce is a pretty poor matchup since he can poke you and smack you away, but he's still squishy enough that he'll die if you get off your combo. Kayle is a skill matchup based around reading your opponent; know when she's going to ult, and stun her just before so you can windslash. Against Urgot, you absolutely must dodge his ultimate. If it hits, you can't win in an all-in, since he's going to be able to proc his legs and get you to that threshold.
Against tanks, it's pretty much just a farm lane early on. Their damage is generally low enough that you can mitigate it with E, though you might need a couple more points in it early. Post-6, you win the lane if you haven't fed them already. Freeze under your tower, and you can pop R to run them down if they go for CS. There are enough tanks that I won't go into specific cases for them.

New runes have changed that a bit, an a real jayce knows when and how to do late game (He was a late game champ before the lethality rework, and his kit hasn't changed, it's just the way we itemize that does this)

There are multiple approaches to this, most viable is just a last whisper and it seems to work fine
yasuo is completely trash against a tank because he builds crt and attack speed first items and not lethality/armor pen. Lethality is shit vs tanks, and there are like 4 other ways to build yasuo, including effective anti-armor builds, the way people play yasuo and the way AD itemization works out, he can literally build whatever he wants if someone knows the kit

Even Adrian says that tanks are boring farm lanes for that exact reason.
Bruisers are in an awful spot, riven included, and to say otherwise is pure ignorance.
