An idea to balance the cinderhulk enchantment

Quick explanation : I want to make cinderhulk better in earlygame (without making it op in lategame though), because tanky jungler have to rush it

Here is the cinderhulk enchantment currently :

+400 hp +15% Bonus health Passive - Immolate

Here is my idea to balance it :

+300 hp +30 armor +10% bonus health Passive - Immolate

=> A new build path ? : This buff implies to add a cloth armor to the build path of cinderhulk

=> Why would it give armor ? : Tanky junglers need armor to survive in their jungle, they need a jungle item that can provide them survivability

=> Why the 15%=>10% nerf ? : It is another way to balance the item. Scroll a bit to see the numbers.

=> Gold values comparison with Sunfire cape in earlygame : On some champions I buy Hunter'sTalisman and a sunfire cape, here's why :

Our champion is level 7, he has only one item : sunfire cape or cinderhulk.

  • Sunfire cape : +500 hp (1333 gold) +50 armor (1000 gold) Passive - Immolate : 32 damage per second against champions. 48 damage per second against minions and monsters. Stats value : 2333 gold Passive value : about 567 gold (we suppose that sunfire cape is exactly worth its price) Total combat value : 2333+567=2900 gold

  • Earlygame cinderhulk : +460 hp (1227 gold) (460=400+400x0,15) Passive - Immolate : 21 damage per second against champions and minions. 42 damage per second against and monsters. (less good than sunfire's in every way) Stats value : 1227 gold Passive value : less than 567 gold ** Total combat value : less than 1227+567= less than 1794 gold**

Compared to Sunfire cape, cinderhulk doesn't seem very good, but we must remember that when you build it you get all the stuff a jungler needs : a smite buff (or wards if you're that kind of guy), mana and health regen, extra damage vs monsters and special bonus experience. However, here is the reason why it's still not good enough :

  • Warrior : +60 ad (2100 gold) +10% cdr (about 267 gold according to leagueoflegends.wikia.com) Total combat value : 2367 gold

This means Warrior is worth 2367 gold while providing all the things a jungler needs. Meanwhile, Cinderhulk is worth less than 1794 gold in earlygame.

=> Gold values comparison with Sunfire cape in lategame :

Our champion is level 18, he has a total of 2000 bonus hp, cinderhulk or sunfire cape included.

  • Sunfire cape : +500 hp (1333 gold) +50 armor (1000 gold) Passive - Immolate : 43 damage per second against champions. 64,5 damage per second against minions and monsters. Stats value : 2333 gold Passive value : about 567 gold Total combat value : 2333+567=2900 gold

  • Lategame cinderhulk : +700 hp (1867 gold) (700=400+2000x0,15) Passive - Immolate : 43 damage per second against champions and minions. 86 damage per second against and monsters. (as good as sunfire) Stats value : 1827 gold Passive value : 567 gold ** Total combat value :1827+567=2394 gold**

Value : 1794 to 2394 gold

New Cinderhulk : 300 hp = 800 gold 30 armor = 600 gold +10% bonus health : +100hp = 267 gold for every 1000 bonus hp Passive - Immolate : 567 gold Total combat value : less than 800+600+567=1967 gold in earlygame, and up to 1967+2x267=2501 gold if you have 2000 bonus hp in very lategame

Value : 1967 to 2501 gold

However, Gold value is pretty abstract, it is not the best way to look at things. The reason why this small buff would be good is because of the armor bonus.

it good but i think if there is and enchantment that gives armor there need to be one who gives mr ?

Riot hates junglers to succeed and tanks to succeed unless they are Lee Sin. They will keep cinderhulk at the bottom of the heap.
