Well she got buffed and also most of the time you find like 2 champs with cc in each team (which means your enemy team won't be stacked with cc) do you think Katarina would be good right now?
I haven't seen many katarinas.
Just don't first pick her. They will most likely pick accordingly and get some people with high damage and cc (
)
You really need to pick her into a specific enemy team comp. She's very easy to counter. But other than that she's ok.
It's all about if you trust yourself to wait until the enemy team blows all their cc before you engage
I will be the first to say I am a poor Katarina player. She certainly fits the mid lane meta or 100-0 people. She has high potential damage. The real question is how does she handle herself in lane against Zed, Ahri, and Lux? Or the other assassin mids in play today.
Depends If your in bronze or silver she usually will do work
If your gold or higher than people know how to stop her
Always depends on your team comp, the enemy team comp and what elo you are
Yeah I think the buff helped a lot. She can push waves much more quickly now with just a Q W enableing her to roam more. It also allows her to do more poke damage in teamfights before she goes all in. She's still not one of the best midlaners, but she's probably above average now.

As much as I want to say Katarina is strong again, she's not. Was playing 3 Kata matches few hours back, and she leaves a lot more to be desired. Riot needs to work on the clunkiness of her E. Every spell after her E is so delayed. And she needs to have her ratio for W buffed, alone, its an even more pathetic spell compared Ahri's overnerfed Foxfire.

and you are no longer any threat. any time you try to assassinate them they will just get 2 shields and the ball of stats that is maw an just kill you while healing up to full hp.
Absolutely. She is a monster! Such high burst, damage, poke, escapes, and her area dmg ultimate.... She was very good even before the buff.
she is extremely weak against most match ups, and most team has a cc or two, so i dont think she is good right now.
