Purple one is probably best, then toss up b/w red and blue. The poacher one is fairly useless for two reasons:

  1. It relies on a very unlikely scenario of you smite stealing a wraith/golem/buff to perfection to ever take effect.

  2. The XP and GOld has shifted SO heavily to small minions that I actually think it's more worth to take the small ones and leave the big one because they do so much damage but give way less XP.

The small ones still aren't worth shit for XP though. You get like 1/20th of a level for them.

Also, thus far unless you're an autoattacker the purple smite seems like about the only useful one.

I feel like poacher would only be viable on a proxy top lane and even then it isn't worth it.

Poacher is very viable IF you have the knowledge of what monster the enemy champion needs, which is really hard right now since this is all new. Some champions are very obvious however and that gives you an objective with the Poacher. For example, Rammus probably really wants Gromp. He wants the Toadstool Poison, so, as someone like Shaco, you wanna invade and get his Gromp, denying him a HUGE DPS increase. Poacher's Knife will become more popular to those who can counter jungle when knowledge increases over time.
