Fathom what makes kha'zix an even tier 3 pick, let alone a tier 1. What exactly does he bring to the team??? He clears well early and he'll do more damage early than maybe a tank jungler (if isolated) but god what exactly does he have that made the pros constantly pick him despite him losing them almost every game. Kha made ZERO good plays entire LCS Worlds and only won when the rest of the team snowballed and he rode along on those puny wings.

He doesn't have enough damage in his kit to really kill any real ADC player and his slows and peels are all 'soft' . If he gets ahead, which is entirely on luck since he doesn't really make any plays early game, he'll snowball the fights and win it for ya well and easy.

If he's behind by even a bit....he doesn't CC, no damage, no tankiness, can't splitpush, can't duel he's really beyond worthless, even InSeC managed to make KHa look like shit against TSM.

Yet ppl are ban/picking him in Solo Q like he's actually a good champion or something, he very, very rarely pulls off a victory when against a lame jungler but any aggressive jungler that goes shaco/rengar/j4/Rammus or anything will just shit all over him in his jungle, in team fights, in ganking, in objective control and in ability to actually kill the carry.

He is still an okayish jungler. Compared to other junglers, he is(was) one of the few junglers that cleared pretty well and still had decent dueling power. Solo Q wise, he can EASILY snowball a game out of control. At lower tiers/divisions of play where people don't often ward, he can easily pull off ganks and get ahead from that. His resets also make him a monster as he can wipe up a whole team easily with a little bit of support from his team if he gets ahead. Its solo Q, so almost anything that can easily snowball hard is seen as a threat.

As for LCS/worlds, he doesn't do so well because those players actually KNOW how to fight against him. It is also the same reason why back in S2 Evelynn/Shaco were such pubstomp champions in bronze-gold, but almost never appeared in higher levels of play, because people KNEW what they were capable of and didn't allow them to get easily fed and snowball out of control. The way people play in pro matchs is also different from solo Q, so a lot of standard picks aren't as viable just because they might not end up playing in their ideal scenario.
