Ever since Dodge was removed. It was the perfect foil to prevent Ranged ADC from basically being the dumbest class in the game bar none while also providing non cheesy (exhaust/permaCC/knockbackspam) counterplay to melee auto attackers.

Instead of removing all the bullshit stats and stuff that were holding melee AA's back a lot and allowing ranged to dominate (yes they were destroying melees even when dodge existed, simply because there was no such thing as bruisers. The reason bruisers were created was to deal with ranged champions) they took away the one thing keeping Ranged ADC balanced and kept everything ruining melee adc, their solution was to just make more 'bruisers' that would be super over the top tnaky and damage but in reality didn't fix the problem at all.

Then they changed penetration, which was supposed to make assassins/melee dps finally viable but as ever, Ranged types took the most advantage once Riot nerfed the class they were supposed to buff right into the ground meaning that an ENIRE season worth of change went into the trash.

s4 was more of the same, where ranged ADC fell a little behind (A LITTLE, they were still godly) mid season and Riot buffed their itemization through the roof and BAM! Back to square 1 which we were in season 1. Ranged OP, Melees more or less useless. The only season not revolving entirely around adc's was s2 so far.

now s5. Junglers seem to have more options but I'll bet my horse that every dominant jungler that gets strong enough to carry games rather than ranged ADC will be nerfed into oblivion and any jungler with late game dominance will also then be nerfed. We'll be back to pseudo assassin junglers that don't really kill anything but bring enough damage and clear/mobility to do objectives and follow up on King ADC's defense.

I'm not gonna lie, I've only been here since season 4, so I don't know all of what league used to be, but I've noticed how imba this game is. Damage seems simply too high on adc's compared to every other role.

Why exactly was dodge removed? Crits still exist. It's very annoying to just always be at the mercy of who deals higher numbers
