First off I don't think ekko is op. (Not counting tank ekko before his base's get lowered).
He does have a lot of utility though.
What I propose is making the slow from his Q only process on the RETURN.
The return is pretty easy to Dodge, and this will really help squishies who have a hard time getting away from him. It would make it harder to perma stick to people but still let him make good plays.
Thoughts?

L0ve Is Blue2 votesIf anything his W should be nerfed. An aoe ranger slow+shield+stun with passive %health damage is not what I call balanced. Maybe make the stun a super strong slow instead but assassins shouldnt have any kind of hard CC with the burst and mobility they have if you ask me.

Help! The Q return speed is so slow it's hard to land. I'm forced to dash in on them while they're slowed and kill them in melee! As a melee champion, this is UNACCEPTABLE! What, is the slow and poke just there to set them up for me going in on them with my absurd melee damage and three-hit passive? Lame! I want to kill people in lane with just my Q! Ekko should be able to poke down everyone while also staying crazy safe and having more utility than a support. WTF Riot, where is the balance! I'm giving up Ekko over this.
This has been an exaggeration for comedic purposes, but the point is real. Friends don't let friends ask for Ekko buffs.
