Vayne has too many escapes and safety nets, in my opinion. Yeah, I'd be okay with how much damage she does, if every time I try to engage on her she didn't shoot me into a wall and/or roll away. I think her E should be changed - it takes no skill or positioning to execute - it's just point and click CC / displacement. Most other ADC's have an escape skill that is somewhat hard to land, or is easily countered. Caitlyn and Jinx for example have their snares, Tristana, Lucian, Graves, and probably others have a single leap/dash, which forces them to go all-in or not at all, Kog'Maw has a simple slow field / projectile, and Caitlyn also has her slow/dash which takes some amount of skill to use effectively.

All of these are somewhat difficult to use well, or require decisiveness to execute. Vayne, not really. She can Q towards an enemy (and go invisible,) then if things don't go well, she can immediately Q again, and if that isn't good enough, she can just shoot the enemy away, which is nearly on-par with Alistar's W. If she hits them into a wall, then her high damage comes in and she can shred tanks and bruisers relatively quickly.

The problem here is not her damage, however plentiful it may be; the problem is how inconsequentially aggressively she can play, with her constant escapability.

And she kites like a mofo.
