Daily Reminder: Hitboxes
I think that the Hitboxes should match the visuals. Of course, since the game is 3D, this is sometimes hard to match for Riot, with different camera angles and so on. They're also balancing certain champions over the size of their skills(Nidalee Q for example). A big aspect of League is personal skill, like dodging abilities, which can often be crucial in fights. So having the sense of accomplishment of dodging a skill visually and then still getting hit, sometimes losing fights trough this, snowballing the enemy, can be very frustrating(Bard Q(!), Hooks, Zoe E,...). On the other hand can it be rather frustrating if your skillshot visually flies through an enemy and does not connect(Lee Sin Q, Nidalee Q are champions coming to my mind where this happenes sometimes?
Yes, i understand that a lot of the strength of certain supports is in their Q ability(Blitzcrank, Bard) , and lowering their hitboxes would decrease their winrate, especially in lower elo. But as i stated earlier, dodging and hitting things is rewarding us with satisfaction, the reason all of us play this game(and maybe a tad masochism and addiction, my match history and bank account would say).
I don't want to say that hitboxes are terrible in this game or anything, most of the time they're pretty accurate. I'm just asking you guys to fix some remaining inconistencies between visuals and hitboxes.
