People don't like Kat's rework because now she has counterplay. Her kit is much better, coming from a kat main, and she has a much higher skill cap and floor. People can't just pick her up and go 20/1 anymore, unless you're facing apes. Fizz's rework was bad. Talon is arguably the same as before in terms of play rate and win rate. Leblanc is... Still leblanc except there's more of her on the map now Shaco is still shaco Zed basically had no changes And they definitely screwed with Akali. Her passive is worse, her ult deals less damage, and that little jump on her W really wasn't worth all those nerfs.

Idk. The rework was good, since it added counterplay to these assassins, but it is bad because it screwed with the assassins logic of: Kill them in one shot, get out or die.

Katarina's rework did not give her a higher skillcap.

You learn her combos and you're 10 times the old Katarina with way LESS counterplay.

SO you're saying the telegraphed damage and ult range isn't a nerf to her old self? She was unhealthy pre rework. Either she died to cc or she gets a triple or more. The new kat can still be counterplayed believe it or not. There's something called not running into her knives.

No, it has nothing to do with that really. Her damage is absurd, and if you know her combos well you'd also know the combos in which the "telegraphed damage" can basically not be avoided.
