How are people playing vs Zed? with a single serrated dirk and one rotation he reduces me to below half HP ... rushing zhonyas doesnt work because the armour is negated through lethaility and the statis efefct isnt needed if one roation of W E Q chunks so hard... i cant play poke because if i even go to try and poke im hit with that rotation of spells and im forced to play safe incase im greeted with an ult before his W is back off CD to do another rotation...

I used to play lissandra vs him and win when they used to rush botrk but now he just simply outfamages too hard to even stand a chance..... denying his ult feels like the least of my worries its the damage before teh ult that gets me...

so how are people playing vs him? I dont mean champion choice either in case theyre second pick or a ban him

You know you can dodge his shurikens? You can move from his shadow? That after he uses his shadow he is vulnerable for 20 sec? He is assassin, most chapmions outscale him.

u cant move from his shadows unless u flash , when he lands a shadow on u he will e to slow u down and throw double shurikens and u cant dodge that , he chunks hp and his poke is even more retarded then xerath , and even if u poke him down to 1/4 of his hp he still burst u down from full hp hot fix this garbage champ already alongside with khazix and other broken assains

Of course u can move from his shadow, unless you stand still like moron on lane without constantly moving.

Nahnahnah, I used to say the same thing, but I've been getting mopped by zeds lately. It's not just a 1v1 mid lane match up, the entire team needs to play safe, because if he ult kills the adc one time, it's a massive power spike. Playing safe and building zhonyas just means he pushes you under tower while you're oom and he roams bot.

The problem with zed is that he's an early game manaless assassin with wave clear, high mobility, and scaling off of kills. He has too much going on.

his wave clear/poke and high mobility are on the same spell rotation though that it requires the 22 second cooldown w to use, which you conveniently omitted

Maybe outscale his Q, W and E but not his Ult. That ability is one of the strongest in the game, if not countered in any way.

Except that cooldown is reduced for every enemy hit with his E. All Zed players try to use that excuse that his W has a long cooldown.

Why did you even downvote me ? When I play SR and face a Zed, I just go Lissandra and stomp him most of the time (but once he gets his item 3147 I can't do shit anymore sadly, "because my teammates are retarded and the adc is farming alone without wards bot")

Except I lost every game with her when matched against Zed. Lissandra's abilities are csst really slowly, E in particular. While Zed can do his combo almost completely instantly.

Flat Armor Penetration = LETHALITY × (0.6 + 0.4 × level ÷ 18)

item 3191 Gives you 30-45 Armor. Costs 1200 item 3134 Gives 10 Leth. Costs 1100

Leth is calculated above, assuming you both get these two items around the same time he won't be breaking the base amount of armor on your cloth armor let alone the whole Seeker for awhile. Even with his 1st full Leth item. 1 Leth at level 18 reduces 1 armor.

His W is on a stupid high CD and you can always you know dodge stuff, you're a mid laner, you should be good at dodging skill shots.

You mentioned Liss, you should dominate that lane and not give him a chance to roam. You waveclear with your harass, you have a massive jump (which can also be used as damage if need be) that even if he ults you that if you time right you can use once he exits his ult you jump to location away, CC out the wuzzoo so even if he roams bot you just go with him and ult him out of his ult and blow him up.

If he goes Hexdrinker 1st while your building Seekers then he's not gonna have a ton of damage.

Well, I can't defend the interactivity of the choice, but just get summoner 3 and item 2419 from Inspiration.

The thing here is that Zed can't burst through high elo players who take and do whatever they need to in order to win. And he is currently tuned so he can fight them.

Also, turn item 2421 into item 3157 and you should be safe until you both have some 3 items. And by that time, you just group.

Well the armor from Zhonya's isn't completely negated.

You could also opt out your secondary runes for resolve for the extra defensive stats. Bone plating and conditioning would make you a lot harder to kill. Sure you may not have an easy time killing him or anyone else. But not dying is very crucial to successful games this season.

get something that can out play him ie highly mobile champions like fizz or kat. Get something that can push and leave lane like TF. Get something that he can't burst like cho

Then he runs you oom and ganks bot lane. There is no winning against zed. Mana cost champs cant keep up with his early pushing ability, and following his roams is asking for death. The problem is his manaless waveclear on top of his high mobility and scaling ult. Too much in one kit.

A single dirk(1100g) ignores 7/8 armor in pre level 10, and a cloth armor(300g) gives 15 armor.

Armor is what counters lethality, you need last whisper to penetrate bonus armor

statis efefct isnt needed if one roation of W E Q chunks so hard

Stasis effect can negate his ultimate completely if you use it correctly, his double q is a skill shot which you can dodge by running left and right

Poke is effective vs zed pre 6 if your champion has no escape, you just need to stay out of range with champs like xerath or ziggs maybe

You need to play safe versus every early/mid game champion,in every lane, you can't expect to play gangplank and run melee range to renekton in lane and complain about it for example.Also level 1 w is 22 seconds cooldown

Denying his ult when he uses it to not have the mark on you cucks him really hard, and honestly lissandra is still one of the hardest matchups for zed
