Need some picks to shut down the common mid lane assassin picks

With showing up in every single game, I need a pick that can deal with them so I don't have to speed my aging process up by 10 years every time I go against them. I would prefer to play a mage, but I guess anything would work as long as I don't have to get a migraine when going against them.

Just pick any tank that can push effectively. Maokai Sion Chogath Galio ... All of these actually work pretty well mid.

Orianna You can put an early extra point into her shield and shes pretty safe. She can wave clear from a distance and her autos are easy to last hit with Sion Just waveclear and buildbruiser/tank Lissandra Her kit is a big F U to most assasins Morgana My pocket pick for mid(Disclaimer im a support main) but you max her W, use her shield to block magic damage or CC from 3/5 on your list, and landing a binding in fights is always game changing if your team can follow up. I can speak more to her because ive played her more than the others. You build like a battle mage item 3027 rush with whatever boots the situation calls for. Dont need a ton of CDR, can build damage or utility or even a tad tanky for those 4-5 man ults you want to land in teamfights or to peel for someone else if theyre fed. Her W clears caster minions at rank 3 i think. you can mindlessly waveclear and build mobis for roaming, mindlessly waveclear and build tabis against heavy AD teams, mindlessly waveclear and build sorc/cdr boots for more damage. Her passive recovers your HP from using W on a whole wave so she doesnt have health problems.

Morgana against LB for sure, and I used to go well as Orianna against Yasuos but I think that it was because they were bad, no clue against the other ones.
