Why are team builder queues lengthened for champs in certain lanes?

I don't really get it. I mean, why should Fiora top get as short a queue as Yasuo mid but not Fiora mid or Yasuo top, even though they both have fighter as their recommended role? You guys held out for the longest time from this mode because you didn't want to "enforce the meta," yet with this system you are needlessly and superfluously enforcing the meta. It's completely unnecessary, but you designed it that way regardless. I'm confused.

Huh? Your queue isn't based on the champion you pick at all (except for the MMR adjustment); it's based on how open the role you chose is at the moment. Group leaders declining to accept you will obviously increase the time you have to wait, but that is up to the leader and has nothing to do with Riot. Picking something atypical to the meta has a higher chance of getting rejected and therefore results in a higher queue time for them sometimes.

Riot doesn't enforce the meta in teambuilder, the players do. The reason the time is increased between lanes for the same champions is because team leaders either don't want them there, don't understand why you want to be there, or would rather have something they themselves know works as opposed to an off meta pick.

Riot can't do anything about this unless they limit team captain's ability to deny a person into their team, but you'd probably still see increased time limits for anything considered off meta by anyone in the game that stresses that shit. Unless you're support or jungle/ADC (whichever is taking longer).

Because there were group leaders who rejects a Fiora mid, leaving that Fiora person's queue time to be timed longer. So it's actually the group leader's fault for enforcing the meta, not Riot's.

If you refer to the notice about how long are you going to wait (very short, short, long and very long) that's just an eta provided by statistics of same players that queued previously as said champion with that role and position.

If you refer just to wait time it really comes only to the fact that Team Leaders accept you or not when you pop up in their team menu and if there are teams looking for the role you queued for in the position you queued for.

It's time to admit you're just trolling. Your question has been answered multiple times. Either you don't understand, or you're mad because you're not getting the answer you want, or you're trolling. Even the people that crank call Loveline admit it when they're called out.
