The reason veigar feels weak to play

His W. Veigar's W was untouched in his "rework" making his E have a delay really made his W a pain to use and harder to hit. And it just feels so sluggish, the channel time is 1.25 seconds and it feels so bad to use. When you hit it, it's great but when you miss you get annoyed. His W is more of a liability than anything.

Let's compare the tiny master of evil's W with the W of another viable mage who outclasses Veigar, . Xerath's W is just a better version of Veigar's W. Xerath's W has not only a larger range but a slow that can be amplified by hitting the enemy in the center of the radius to an 80% slow, not to mention enemies in that inner AOE take 50% increased damage and it only has a .5 second cast time, all that Veigar's W has on Xerath's is damage.

Even Veigar's E doesn't feel rewarding not only because it's so unwieldy no but, because even if you do great and hit that 5 man ultimate you'll still feel as if you didn't do enough because Veigar can't do enough, even if he hits the ENTIRE enemy team with it, what is he gonna do? He can only kill 1, maybe 2 enemies in that time because realistically unless the whole enemy team is in the radius of his W he can't really do much. Probably the only "realistic" scenario where Veigar can get a penta off his stun is his Q 1 shotting 2 people then his W 1 shotting 2 more then ulting and 1 shotting the 3rd but in that case he'd be fed beyond belief or it would be super late game.

He really also needs new VFX on his E and W. His W is DARK MATTER it's supposed to look fearsome and terrifying, not like a cosmic turd. The E sounds equally terrifying it's called event horizon, as in the event horizon of a black hole, why are there pillars? Also, why does the inside have stars in it and why is it purple? This doesn't look like a black hole at all...

Overall needs some serious attention and a minor rework because between the E and W and how awkward he is to use, he just feels weak even if he really isn't. I have no idea how to fix it and I'm afraid of how Riot is going to deal with it since he was (and in a way still is) unhealthy, and you know what CertainlyT does with those champions, he abandons them to be bot laners ( #1)

TL;DR: Jokes aside he really needs help to make him feel more rewarding to play.
