Ranked System Flawed

Now how come in rank matches, you get 17LP for winning but -20 when you losing, even when you are in lower tiers? I think the system in place has a huge negative impact on players, or maybe its just my account. But when I win a match, even for 1st win of the day and only get 17LP but then lose and get between 20-22 points taken away. Something is wrong here. Its never been like that until season 6.
