I feel like Kog'Maw is an indirect answer to meta champs. He won't always win, but he'll always make their lives difficult. I can't count the number of times someone took a dive on my turret to kill me, only to get blown up by my corpse while trying to run away.
I also love playing Ziggs since very few champs can outrange him consistently. It's hilarious watching Ezreal players get mad because they keep getting hit with Q bombs.
I feel you, but they're both a lot more popular (and profitable) than Trundle. As such, their mains are basically first class citizens when it comes to balancing.
