Can we remove ward hop from Lee Sin?

They did it to Katarina. I don't see why they wouldn't do it for Lee. The fact that he can dash WHENEVER he wants just adds to the frustration we have to deal with when playing against this godforsaken *sshole. There is no reason why he should dash to wards. It makes it way to easy for the Q+W+R insec combo, guaranteeing an extremely strong free pick with a basic ability. Lee Sin is supposed to be a skill pick, so skilled players should find a way to insec another way. Using summoner 4+R is a much more balanced combo since he burns a strong spell with a long cooldown in order to make the strong play.

Believe me, without it, Lee would not be utter trash. A good Lee will make his way over to his team and jump to them if he's chased, and he'd still be able to make it over that wall. The new insec combo would without flash would be W on engage and then R. Lee Sin can do fine without ward hops. It's just annoying that he has the ability to go wherever the hell he wants and be so extremely mobile when he is meant to be a fighter, NOT AN ASSASSIN.

He falls off hard late. He's strong early. He's the jungle version of Renekton. He has a 50% win rate. I can't for the life of me figure out where all these QQ threads are coming from. Everyone complaining about his 50% win rate when Ivern is sitting at 60%. LOL

I play Lee Sin regularly, the last thing that is broken on Lee is his ward hop capability. See, with limited ammo, 2 wards plus yellow trinket, he's only able to hop maybe 3-4 times before each back max. A good Lee player manages their wards accordingly, and to players who find it frustrating, that's why. The whole point of lee is setting up positioning, that's 90% of his mechanics. He's not entirely mechanically difficult to execute in a boxing match, its what you do in the engage that makes him difficult.

Instead of completely gutting out the most essential part of his kit, why not just slightly nerf the jungle ward item instead to where it has a refill timer much like yellow trinket? That way Lee has a fixed ward timer.

You remove the ward hop, you remove the Lee.

Lee sin relies on limited charges on his jungle item.

He has 2 opportunities to make a Defensive play or to attempt an offensive play..even if he gives up vision and uses his trinket which has a long cool-down he is still limited on his ability to really do anything if he blows them with bad positioning.

Lee sin is all about the player knowing where to go and invest their time and to use their ward charges to snowball the game as soon as possible before they fall off.

Successful lee sin games require you to play everything near perfect for any of his plays to work unless your in low elo and players just walk into your Qs but 95% of good lee sin play is about pre determining what you are going to do and executing it smoothly. That is why he is always in competitive play because he requires a lot of experience to make things happen at a high level. lee sin is a high risk high reward early game jungler that creates plays for the team to carry him later on.

Its not a coincidence that most lee sins that are snowballing a game like crazy in low elo usually have a lot of time into the champion. Its easy to kill people with lee sin but the difference is that high elo lee sins know how to win games with him.

Renekton is a perfect example you can win your lane super hard but you need to learn to extend your lead as soon as possible before you fall off and become basically useless.
