The recent deathsworn missions not only did not require wearing an icon, but gave out a free ward skin.

Yeah but the worlds missions... I felt like crap after 3 games of doing nothing for missions after I realized I forgot to equip the icon.

The deathsworn missions are exactly what I think missions should be (and the ward skin was a nice reward). The only time I liked the icons was the Order/Chaos event as it allowed you to show (and for the system to track) which side you were supporting. When there is no "one or the other" type mission, requiring the icon just feels bad.

It'd also be helpful if the event highlighted which icons were usable. I think it's stupid that the icon I got for completing worlds missions (Pick 'Em icon) is NOT valid as a "Worlds" icon.

The 34 point one. Last season I liked the "base" one better, but this season I prefer the "success" version.

One game of WW got me 21,000.

But, these missions are BETTER. at least you don't have to WIN in PVP. That is such a BS mission add-on.

FWIW, I once lost to a 5 teleport team. in ranked solo. they were ALWAYS THERE. It was nuts (ofc, my team laughing at their non-meta comp and screwing around likely hurt)

While we're at it, can we give other maps some love? Maybe give us a mission that doesn't require SR objective, 5-man PvP, 5-man pre-made, or "win X matches on Summoner's Rift."

It should be pretty obvious by now that Riot would rather us play LCS Simulator than actually play the game. We have to go a year+ between URF/One For All/Hexakill, and TT is old as fuck. They have us believing that choosing our own preferred game mode over the awful RGM or playing anything that isn't SR is bad, and beating your head against bad matchmaking with boring meta seasons is all that matters.

"Play SR with a premade of 5, much like your favorite LCS team, or just don't play! Here is another bad 1 and done random game mode, to beat your ass back into SR!"

Try to get a champion in ARAM that heals other players. If you get an APC get Gunblade. You don't always get the same amount of progress but losing an ARAM is far less annoying than losing a Summoner's Rift. I finished my last 8k playing TF with Gunblade on ARAM.

People pay good money to get icons. Riot then decides to make them equip an icon they don't want if they want the mission rewards. Then riot wonders why people don't like the mission system.
