People beg for Zed Nerfs.

Hey I symphasize. I really do. I mained Zed for abit and played against Zed a lot back during the mana was nerfed and zed was king. Honestly theres only two things that make him broken. His ult allows him to escape easily. This makes the laning phase very hard as he can get a kill easily and if he doesn't? He escapes and doesn't have to worry. Secondly his wave clear is decent but that's not really a problem imo, I'm gold though what do I know. I do agree with some peoples posts about his w giving extra AD, that should be removed. As far as that as a nerf though I think he's fine as he is. He can't dive 1 v 5 like Akali, and if he does people can just camp his shadows and if he goes back to one he'll get destroyed. Besides theres much better champions than Zed who do the same thing but better. Take Leblanc for example.

TDLR: Zed not as strong as people say, deserves nerfs but not as harsh as people want.

The reason people say Zed is OP is because they don't know how to play against him.

Zed is so easy to zone. Xerath or Karma, or heck even Ziggs and Syndra. Zed has a lot of counters.

This is where I stopped listening to anything you said. Comparing Akali to Zed... Akali has such an awful early game, when exactly does Zed have an awful game? Oh that's right he doesn't. Easy wave clear with passive, easy escapes with shadow and / or ult, easy dives with shadows and ult to kill people under tower. Akali dives you? She's not going anywhere unless you have minions around or a jungle camp close by and she has ult charges ready. 1 v 5? If a team loses to Akali solo they should stop playing the game or go back to bots.

Zhonya, QSS, great items but Zhonya is very expensive and causes any mana user to have to adjust build in a way that hurts them. QSS isn't massively expensive but it still causes you to adjust your build. What does Zed give up in similar situations? If he is facing a mid lane mage and somehow falls behind or takes lots of damage he can build Hexdrinker. It isn't BOTRK but it's still damage AND a free shield that works against magic damage. If he's facing a melee mid laner (haven't seen it happen in a long time) he just builds straight AD because they can't win a duel in most situations.

Zed vs AD - AD mid that isn't Zed? Nope. Zed vs AP - AP mid has to build to counter his burst with armour while he can build a damage item that gives a free magic shield

This is the 'healthy assassin' Riot and the forums love to praise for his skillful pressing of R, facerolling the keyboard and then pressing R again. The really sad thing is even if you ignore that building Zhonya or QSS put the person behind in their role a good Zed doesn't even need his ult to kill you and just waits out Zhonya or keeps attacking.

Zed has to outplay his opponent with his skills. Leblanc merely w's in, q r e combo, and w's out all in a second. Zeds combo, if your a pro atleast, takes a good 2 seconds at minimum to accomplish.

All assassins simply jump in and use their combo, that's far from outplaying, they simply need enough stats to win the fight. Also, since he's AD he can miss an ability and not really be punished for it, if Le Blanc W/E don't hit, she lost a lot of her damage and doesn't get to auto attack for damage. This is also why Zed can kill tanks where as Le Blanc doesn't get to as quickly, and also why he gets to split push. Zed also beats her plat+.

Leblanc is definitely the better assassin in this case. She has better burst, is arguably a lot safer, and is extremely hard to trade with, all while being more mobile than Zed is.

Leblanc can't kill an MR tank, Zed can kill an armor tank. His burst is a lot more deadly, and a lot more safe than Leblanc. Zed is a lot harder to trade with because his resource is energy, Leblanc's is mana and so a lane bully hurts her terribly. Zed can split push, and kill any target in the game outside of a select number of champions, there are several champs that can deal with Leblanc and handle her better than Zed.

If you can zone a Zed, you can definitely zone and bully Leblanc.

leblanc is the better assassin dude but i rather take zed late game cause leblanc falls off late.
