Champion.gg - Nidalee Jungle Stats, Builds, Runes, Masteries and Counters

So in Platinum+ ranked games in Europe, NA, and Korea (almost 4 million games so the sample size is actually pretty large), Nidalee is ranked one of the most versatile and dominant champions currently in the game.

She is ranked: The best jungler (with a staggering 55% winrate out of all games see shes jungle play) The second best top laner (with a 53.4% winrate just behind Irelia) The sixth best mid laner (with a ~52% winrate)

Lets go in depth a bit more in each role:

Jungle She sees about 3% of play in jungle (around Hecarim numbers and he's considered a top tier jungler) Highest number of kills (outshining Yi, Shaco, Kha'zix, Rengar and other jungle assassins) Largest avg. killing spree (ahead of Yi, Kha'zix, etc.) Most damage dealt (ahead of Yi, Shaco, Diana, etc.) 6th highest healing?! (behind Zac, WW, Sion, Aatrox, Fid) 8th highest gold gain (behind most farm based junglers)

So its established she can gank well, kill efficiently, sustain well, and gain a massive amount of money in that role.

Top 6th highest amount of kills per game (behind Fiora, Pantheon, Poppy, Quinn, Rengar) Highest average kill spree 8th most played top laner (behind Riven, Gnar, Liss, Irelia, Renek, Malph, and Vlad) 10th best sustain (behind Zac, Sion, Yorick, Aatrox, Vlad, Swain, Trundle, Nunu, and Mundo) 4th highest winrate in top lane (behind Dinger, Hecarim, and Urgot) 8th highest play rate (~7%)

Middle 9th highest play rate (7% again) 7th highest amount of kills per game (behind Kat, Talon, Akali, Veigar, LB, and Fizz) 3rd highest average kill spree (behind Kat and Kass) 3rd best healing (behind Vlad and Swain)

This is a champion Riot needs to keep an eye on especially in her ability to jungle. With her ability to dominate games from now three possible positions, her identity of a flex pick significantly increases to points where just her flexibility are going to call bans. We already know Nidalee is a tier two midlaner and a tier one top laner, allowing her to be a top tier in another role just shows how overpowered this champion can be in multiple situations and scenarios to points where you may even call her broken.

EDIT: sorry about afew Percentages, they change drastically overnight, also this was stats from 5 days ago, was writing this up for fun. Secondly I'm not really complaining about Nidalee, I just think she's quite strong despite being in a meta that's suppose to counter her.

Delete Nidalee and pretend she never existed.

Where are you getting these stats? Seriously, go back and look at the site you listed, she's like middle of the pack in both top and mid lane, her win rate in those roles was hovering around 45-47% the last two patches, it just jumped to barely 50% this last patch. Her jungle win rate was around 50-51% as well during the age of cinderhulk, it's just now jumped to 52-53% with the cinderhulk nerfs. As stupid as I think jungle Nidalee is, your numbers and claims are totally off base (heck, your title even says she's been "top five" and you say she's 6th best midlaner. You're not even consistent)

Your solution is terrible IMO.

They just need to nerf her jungle clear speed after they allowed her to mark jungle minions -- that's all.

Giving her charges on her spear so she has to run around doing nothing for periods of time is a terrible way to nerf Nidalee.

As of May 15, Nidalee's winrate is 45.67% (48.13 in ranked. got this from lolking by the way).

From the looks of it, if anything she needs a buff. If Nid is nerfed, she needs to gain power elsewhere, because otherwise we're just gutting people we find annoying.

I don't care about her spears but:

  1. She should not be allowed to jungle. Her mobility and map pressure is too damn high, and for some reason her waveclear is godlike too
  2. Her heal is stupid

Just because she can do all that, in good hands, doesn't mean everyone can. Go ahead, try Nid. See if you can pull the same stats.

nid doesn't even have a 50% win rate... and has only been seen competitively this past year. where as other champs like lee sin, and zed are seen every year. you need to LEARN to to play against her. it REALLY isnt that hard.. EVERY tank and bruiser in the game counters her EVERY ONE. nidalee is VERY weak at the her traps ar e 100% worthless can nidalee cant trade ANYONE without landing a skillshot on them first.. nidalee by far one of the easiest champs in the game to counterplay and she offers nothing in a teamfight.. why dont you stop complaining about her and actually lern to play against her so we can have a real discussion

Nidalee is 35th in the top lane with 49.45% win rate so far.

In 5.8 she was nowhere near top 10 in the top lane either.

The percentages change drastically because 5.9 patch just came out recently and champion.gg only shows stats for current patch.

Nidalee is NOT overpowered.

2 things so she isn't so damn annoying

  1. Increase the cooldown on her jump and spears
  2. Remove the heal is it so fucking hard

you brought this on yourselves. the whining about tank meta, the cries of cinderhulk and skirmishers op. ..well, have fun with Nidalee killing you guys in 1 hit now that her predators have been crippled.

Funny, because when I look at the numbers, I see 53% Jungle, 50.5% Mid, and 49.5% Top and all of those numbers just went up this patch; i.e they were lower before. If you're gonna make up numbers, don't include a link to the correct numbers in your post.

hum are you just throwing a bunch of "xth at doing Y " just to ask for a nidalee nerf or are you actually concerned about her power ? i mean when i see a stat like Xth at healing, behind a bunch of champion with passive healing vs her actual active healing ability with a decent CD, i'm confused by how is nidalee so much over bearing ? in the same sense, i could say she is 17th / 42 in term of most deaths, she dies a lot more often the half the junglers! too squishy pls bufferino!

Also, she hasnt been that different since a few patch now...nidalee mid/top arent really that much played. she is down to below top 20 top 30 of these position in term of winrates, with 1-2% of play % (currently on champion.gg). thats hardly an issue with those lanes, and i'm going to go ahead and say if you see a nidalee in your opponent team comp, its likely to be a jungler...and even then she is barely the 14th most played jungler with a bunch of other choices, whom use the cinderhulk enchant better, ahead of her. Nidalee is hardly an issue currently...

My point is a bunch of useless stats, where she isnt even first in to begin with (live stats keep changeing and as of right now she isnt the best at anything except keeping her killing spree, and thats kind of an useless stat), just isnt really relevant to "how strong nidalee" is. Right now the meta doesnt really favors her too much, but she is still a good champion with her own strength and weaknesses. Oh and a poll about nerfing nidalee is always going to get an absurd amount of yes, even when she isnt op, just because of how many people hate those spears (like how you put a bunch of stats who are supposed to be sign of nidalee being too strong, and yet suggest a nerf directly ot her spear? trying to get a lot of votes in eh ?).

If she goes around to buff magus, which may never happen mind you, then they can look at how well nidalee can scale with it, and make adjustement then. Doing them right now, will just make her overall weak, until/if such a meta shift occurs.

In the meantime, nidalee is fine.

Luckily not many bronze players play her (in my ranked games at least). Good for me whether their on my team or the other. I have yet to have a Nidalee on my team that isn't complete shit.

The problem is players just don't know how to select a team composition, there is nothing wrong with Nidalee just unskilled players nothing more I play against Nidalee all the time I know how to easily win in games against her.

And players do play ADC mid its just rare because players are toxic when uncommon things are done especially lately been running into so many toxic players today its not funny.
