anyone else having client lock ups?

Ever since the new client became the norm i have had these to where it locks my computer up all but the mouse movement i can't open or close anything and it's cost me matches in play and in the champ selection anyone have any ideal of how to stop this or is it just the crap client? cause after a massive amount of lp lose over a few months plus now getting booted out of my promos cause of a lock up that i was one win away from i am rather pissed.
