Why is it that people overextend/over push and think the jungler is no help?

This is something i have struggled to understand in lol logic since i have started to play the game a year ago. In smite i never had this issue if they over pushed or played reckless they knew what was or could happen. In dota2 the rare time you had junglers or a roaming mid it was the same deal. Since i have started lol i have noticed the ongoing joke that everything is the junglers fault granted i laugh it off however the last game i played annoyed me so bad i had to take a break. The bot adc was just feeding all game and really did not get kills until the end the support was getting all the kills mid could not even hold her own and quit over pushing and getting stunned by brand. and poor kennen was trying to work but mid kept dying and then brand would roam top then when he was in lane never warded or called missing.

I would come top to help kennen and we got him back to par before it got really bad. Our mid just did so bad and wanted to blame me saying useless jg doesn't help blah blah blah. At 10 minutes in i was the only one with no death and 3 assist and the game was 3-13 I kept telling them to stick closer to the towers to please quit over pushing and chasing kills. When i would come and gank i would ping the lane and as soon as i jump them they did nothing to help unless they where able to take the last shots.

My bot lane actually killed the lane i called them to come help with dragon as it was an ocean and it would have been a great help. Yet they stayed csing the minions instead of helping with dragon bot respawns they just take dragon since bot is not even pushing the empty lane. Why is this a norm?

A junglers job isn't just to come get gank kills, but also to help take towers. If middle lane had a low health Brand under tower, no reason a jungler couldn't help get a dive kill and start working on turret. It's all situational depending on your junglers location. I keep constant eyes on my jungler and only ping when he's near my lane. Sometimes I don't even need the jungler, but the extra pressure scares enemy laner away or even better, prevents the enemy jungler who was on the way to a 2v1 from coming at all.

Without actually seeing the game, I can't call it one way or another. But good luck in future games.

Because the wave being pushed doesn't mean that you, as the jungler, are helpless. In fact, having your lanes pushed gives you opportunities you wouldn't normally have.

Depending on the type of jungler, kills can be done under enemy tower with coordination.

But smite is such a nice game, why didn't you stayed there?

Well, unless you link into a hive mind like the BORG, you won't get the desired effect you would want so, go with that.
