So yeah the TLDR here is Sona's positioning power, aura hits, and Q spam post level 7 are going up and her Q spam in early lane and aura size are going > down. My hope is that you feel like you're being more impactful and have more agency while not actually making Sona crazy OP Types of feedback I'm looking for: Do you like the new changes? Is she more fun? Do you hate the changes (especially the aura size reduction)? Would this make you want to play Sona less? If Sona comes out with these changes and ends up being too strong would you be willing to accept power cuts in other areas to keep them? What would > you want to see hit?"

Not sure if anyone has suggested this but with the reduction in Aura Radius, is there any way an aura range indicator could be used? Much like how taric has the line of stars going to the person he barriers. I am not implying something that would make the screen super busy but perhaps something subtle as opposed to guessing how many units away you are? Also, this would be center of character to center of character not edge to edge correct?

So these are the changes I heard about? This is literally a major nerf. She doesn't use auras, I assume you're referring to her secondary actives since you're listing 350-unit abilites. She needs a range increase, not a reduction. She's intentionally being designed like a tank support whilst keeping her the squishiest, least-mobile support in the game with the least and weakest CC. The CD changes to Q are absolutely horrible, they're intentionally destroying the option of maxing W in a losing lane, while also intentionally setting up a new excuse to further nerf damage in the future in spite of the fact she already has lower damage than any other support in the game. The stronger shield is literally fucking useless, its duration is still less than half the duration of any other shield of the entire fucking support class. Increasing the selfish speed on E is pointless, she's still a useless character that offers nothing for her team, it doesn't matter if she MAYBE feeds an average of 1 less kill of third game.


These changes don't answer a single one of her problems, worse they just accentuate the problems she already has. Her W, E and R cooldowns are still unusably long. She's still the weakest healer in the entire game. She's still the only support without pre-6 hard CC. She still has the lowest damage potential of all supports. Her kit is still half-melee. She still has stats balanced around her auras, even despite the fact she doesn't even fucking have auras anymore. She's still completely immobile without being compensated in any way for her immobility. Her ult is still stupid-short-range and comparably weaker than most other ults.
