Mage Update - Karma and Ziggs

In my opinion, karma needs tweak more than Vel koz at the moment. It would be great to bring back her Shield bomb and her empowered tether is almost never used. I have seen Karmas only use R for q most of the time. She has a very great early game since she gets the dmg form her ult but falls off mid to late. It would be great if her Ult can be stored 2-3 times so she could be more of an impact. Her passive is not bad but it couldve been her Ult's passive and she would get a new one. Her passive relies on her ult, spamming her abilities and trying to hit an aa.

Ziggs doesnt need a Vu or rework. he just needs some mana or ability costs buffs. He drain's his mana so quickly that i had to build athene's and morellos on some games.

ALl I want for karma is a damage component on her E with appropriate nerfs to compensate. I love auto attack enhancer on her next auto attack with like an ap ratio of like .2 or something on karmas shielded target. And a nerf could be lower scaling on her W, which currently has a .9 ap ratio. That is a cookie cutter fix, just a simple buff with no need for a major change. But if riot wants to giver her an identity, I would love Karma to be known as THE KITE MAGE. Make her the mage if you need peel. But make the peel only really work for her and not for her allies. I feel like her E could have more power if they made it a mini janna ulti with damage but drastically reduce the area of effect of it and make a self cast ability similar to Poppy. I feel like it just fits with her spiritual energy while also giving back her shield bomb but only where she is standing.

Yeah I totally agree with you man. She doesn't need that much work done to her. Her old passive would be sweet. Karma's old R+E would be nice too, but they won't put it on unless they get rid of her current passive. I would like to see a charge system with her ULT, a new passive that allows her to scale better into late game and as a support, and her old R+E back. W and W+R is not very good . . . but it isn't bad. Please continue to post threads about Karma so they see that people are interested in her. Thanks.

It would be nice to see something combining some of the good ideas posted on here, for example:

R: 1 mantra charge levels 1-5, 2 mantra changes from level 6 with the ability to double charge her mantra for a true ult effect.

Q: Unchanged. RQ: Unchanged, but with reduced damage. RRQ: Ground targeted Aoe taking the form of twin dragons, with current RQ damage and larger aoe aftershock.

W: AP ratio reduced to .6. RW: Enemy cast, replace bonus root with bonus damage and/or a scaling heal. Ally cast, initial missing hp heal, then a % heal based on damage dealt to enemies by the target ally. RRW: Some kind of damage sharing mechanic.

E: Unchanged. RE: Shield bomb. RRE: Shield bomb with additional shield based on the target's missing hp.

P: Current passive replaced with something like her old passive, but affected by nearby allies missing hp as well as her own.

But if we're being realistic, I'd be satisfied with a new passive, a change to her very poor W/RW and shield bomb returning.

No need to change Ziggs mana cost. You should be building Athene's or Morello's every game on him anyway. Great for CDR and mana regen, both which you need.

If you want to buff Ziggs, maybe lower the CD on his passive by a second or two.

They're focusing more on generic immobile mages who lack a clear niche. Ziggs is a long-range artillery mage with powerful waveclear and some mobility to keep himself safe, Karms is a support-mage who throws out slows and snares while protecting her allies and making sure they can get to where they need to go.

Ziggs is fine, he's supposed to be a siege mage. Karma on the other hand now a un-fun Q bot. Give me a real passive, shield bomb, and charges on her ult again. Pre-rework karma was actually fun mid lane.
