A great idea for pick and ban

Why dont we implement blind pick except each player gets a ban. That way there is no getting countered in draft and the champs you want to ban can still be banned. This also creates the opportunity to use your brain in draft to guess what the other person is going based on the bans of the other team. Kinda sick and tired of getting counter picked just because the enemy laner in draft had a lower pick than me, this truely evens out the playing field.
