Heimerdinger is a problem

He isn't played much in high elo or even low elo

So doesn't matter how horrible lancing against him is, or the fact he can near 1 shot someone with his empowered W

Riot won't touch him

Glad people are exposing this bullshit champion. He’s way too safe, and Heimerdinger mains personally piss me off because they act like dicks knowing the utter cancer they bring to people. They’re so toxic in chat too.

Literally nobody likes him because of his distinct lack of counterplay when he gets zhonyas. WAY too much lane strength for a champion that doesn't fall off, can't be ganked, and has good teamfight strength.

Best part about Heimer? He's viable in 4/5 roles. Some mad lad will find a way to make him a jungler...just wait.

I think he's fine, its just that people don't seem to know how to play against him. I don't have issues laning against him and will most likely destroy him if he's my enemy. I remember in a recent game, my Pyke mid was complaining about Heimerdinger so I asked if he wanted to switch lanes. Heimerdinger wasn't as much of an issue anymore. He's a defensive champion with some poking. Two of his abilities can be a bit hard to land. There's not really any reason I should be dying to him. He's insanely squishy and easy to zone with range. If you're melee, well, I also destroyed a Heimerdinger with Darius before. That Heimerdinger was pretty good too.

Don't go near/out range his turrets and he becomes a non factor..I know.. not all champs can really do that.. but if he is your hard counter like that, he should be your ban choice.

I do feel like He might scale a little too well, as I have seen him at end game completely destroy tanks within a couple hits.. which should not be possible in my opinion..

With over 300k mastery on heimerdinger, I can say with some authority, that frankly he's balanced. He's extremely weak early-mid game (even when you take full dmg runes) and really only power spikes after 2-3 items (heavily item dependent). Yes late game he outscales most and full build hes a force to be reckoned with, but so are many (if not most) fed mage mid-laners. He has 0 mobility, and is extremely squishy so he can fairly easily be 2 shot by assassins with an ounce of skill. Heimerdinger is also countered pretty hard by some of the top MID lane picks like talon, zed, yasuo, etc. He's just like teemo, in the sense that he's not fun to lane against, but that's because of his wave clear and harass capabilities (like teemo) especially if your melee.
