Shyvanna has a useless ultimate.

Tiny hit box, interruptable, scales on AP, poor AOE. As a dragon she doesn't even gain health when she ults and her bonus effects with her abilities aren't actually as good they seems. Her ult's hitbox feels about the size of Shen's taunt radius. Please increase it Riot.

Compare it to Malphite, Hecarim who actually usually builds AP and you get a useless ultimate. Lee sins Q actually deals more damage at lvl 18 with 34 Bonus AD than Shyvanna's ultimate does. - R - 350 Base Damage ( 100% AP Scaling ) Can't be interrupted (Massive fear AOE) - R -400 Base Damage (100% AP Scaling) Can't be interrupted (Knockup) - R - 400 Base Damage ( 70% AP Scaling ) ( Knockback ) - Q -340 Base Damage + 8% of targets missing health ( 180% Bonus AD Scaling ) - R - 600 Base Damage + ( 200% Bonus AD Scaling ) Knockback targeted skillshot

Hecarim's ulti is also a pure crap, he builds tanky + some AD while his ult scales with AP and it's fear is too short. Shyvana's ult is bad, I have notied that, aoe damage is ok, her abilities in dragon form are OK, but it should not be interruptable and it should gain her some resistances.

She does get bonus mr and armor in dragon form on top of her passive but the fact that her ult is interruptable while all the similar ults are not continues to amaze me.

She gains armor and MR from her passive in dragon form up to a maximum of 40 MR and Armour

Her ultimate gives her much more AOE damage, you know. All the upgraded basic abilities count as part of the ultimate. It has a lot of power, just not on the initial jump.

Her jump deals 400 Damage when maxed out and is extremely hard to land on more than 1 person due to the tiny hitbox. Gnar gains health, major damage, massive I MEAN MASSIVE AOE cc, slows and damage that scales on health, also his ult scales on bonus AD aswell. Shyv is nothing in comparison and not to mention her poor mobility apart from her W.

Note that I am not trying to say that Shyvana is as strong as Gnar.

There are several differences between the two. Firstly, Gnar doesn't precisely control when he can transform. Shyvana does. You can play around Gnar's rage, you can't around Shyvana's. Secondly, Gnar's sustained damage in Mega Gnar form is significantly lower than Shyvana's. So long as Shyvana can survive, she ends up out damaging Mega Gnar by quite a large margin. Thirdly, to make Mega Gnar's ultimate useful, you have to jump into the enemy team. Shyvana's ultimate lets her jump into the enemy team. Shyvana then has the movement speed boost on top of that. Providing both Gnar and Shyvana are at maximum fury, Shyvana actually has better mobility (and as we are comparing ultimates, I feel it is reasonable to suggest they are both at maximum fury).

That was before she was nerfed/bugfixed into oblivion and had just about every item she builds nerfed.

The power of the ultimate is not on the dash itself but making your basic abilities into AoE. The dash is just there so you can position yourself in order to do the much damage possible.

Well if by impact you mean people would scather cuz you ulted then turn your w right before ulting. Between the flaming ground and the huge dragon it should be a reflex to get the ehll out of there lol.

Not if a random Janna tornado can stop you dead in your tracks leaving you with no engage. Try that against Malphite.

You still transform. You still do AoE damage, anyone caught before the tornado will also get the full ult damage (just not the displacement). The only cancelled was your dash itself.

Malphite Ult power is the Ult itself while for Shyvana is what comes after. If Malphite misses his ult thats about it, there is no follow up, he most likely will retreat. If shyvanna misses her ult she can still W in and deal decent amount of damage.
