Can you stop rewarding the bad players Riot?

If you play badly, there are too many mechanics that help you out. You are behind in XP or dont know how to jungle? Don't worry. You get catch-up XP.

Bad at farming or getting outplayed? Np, here is shutdown gold.

On the other hand, if you play good, there isnt really any benefit, in fact, the more you kill somebody, the less gold hes worth.

There is nothing really that promotes playing good.

What's the point of getting lead by playing better if enemy just farms 3 waves and gets one shutdown and has more gold than you and is probably only 1 level down -_-

sorry but what? it's called comeback mechanics. If those didn't exist then the game would truly be over within the first 10-15 mins. How is the enemy killing someone who is way stronger than them "rewarding bad players" if anything it's rewarding good play and punishing the bad player who thought he was invincible and couldn't die.

What about the people who have a bad early and need a chance of recovery? And what about people who just have too GOOD a start with such leads? What's the alternative? Crazy snowballing and 0 chance of recovery? 20 minute games? Sorry, but I rather have the incentives to try and recover (or get help from other players) than that garbage.

You're aware that your reward for playing well is... having more money than the rest, right? Why would you need anything else if you literally have more gold than them already? Do you want more gold for having a lot of gold?

On the contrary, I'd say it's rewarding players for good plays. If the enemy gets ahead and doesn't make any mistakes, he'll slowly ekk out a win. But if you catch him at the right moment, out play him, and manage to kill him despite his advantage, you are rewarded for your efforts.

Though I agree catchup gold for farming should go away, since farming IMO is skill expression itself-being punished because you did good farming just feels bad.

Also boards: "Remove shut down gold and catch up XP"

What have you been doing while he got 3 farm waves + a kill on you? Also, good for you, now HE has a bounty so just kill him and collect your free gold.

Riot don't want to reward good players, because they think this is a "Team Game", yes it's a game that require Team Work but how many idiot are willing to listen? Even my trash 0 - 10 Yasuo disagree and decide he must 1v5 to reach his full potential. You called that "Team Game"? When you have that one idiot doing that?

All I'm getting from this is:

"It's not fair the losing team gets a chance to win because of the bounty and exp catch up systems. Game should be over once I go 2-0."

Also, crying over getting jumped by 5 people and them getting rewarded for it? Should they not be rewarded for your non-existent map awareness and a common sense of avoiding fights you know you can't win?

Oh look, the entire team is MIA and I'm here by myself... I swear if I get jumped while clearing this wave or camp I'm going to-- WHERE'S MY TEAM PING PING PING HELLO?! OMG MY TEAM IS USELESS. PLEASE REPORT.

Did anyone ever think about holding off on killing someone? What if you get your enemy to 1/10hp and you just let him base and/or threaten to stop his recall? Neither of you gets a kill but he wastes more time than you. At least you wont be struck with any other shutdown except farm shutdown.

Until Riot fixes the game by nerfing all damage by about 25% this has to be in the game else all games are over at 8m in.

Back before season 6 they didnt need shutdown gold or anything because the game has A LOT less damage in it until 40+ minutes in (Late game)

You didnt have a mid laner that was 4/0 at 8m who now will delete anyone by pressing R

shut down gold dont reword bad players it punish them if anything.

got an ez match up that you should not fail no matter what? good for you but now you have to be more carful out side of laning phase not just dive the enemy bot lane by mashing the keyboard and get a 2 for 1 for doing nothing.

i did not play much mid lane/top lane but when i got a lead i become extremely hard to kill even tho my awareness is garbage tier
