Why do people need to force beliefs, ideology, and way of thinking in this game? it needs to stop.

so i just finished a ranked match

my entire team is up 6 towers vs their 0 towers

we have a 11-1 rengar im 7-1 ap malphite and we have a fed riven and fed misfortune

after the game the malzahar on the enemy team starts going on a rant about cait afking and honestly what can you do at that point?

im not advocating afking, but by time the surrender vote was over we were 1 auto away from taking their second nexus turret after getting a triple kill.

everybody lost lane, their jungler fed, they had no dragons, and no turrets.

Why do people need to force this ideology that "never give up never surrender" will win you games, it honestly doesn't and gives you less time to play league because you are wasting time trying to win an already lost match.

I have won games by not surrendering, I have won a game where our nexus turrets were our last turrets and we hadn't taken one of their inhibitor turrets and we won because we defended so long they surrendered.

Be sure to always let the other team know when they should FF, you can do the thinking for everyone and it seems you have the only ideology covered. If they don't FF when you feel they should then you can always go to they're houses and shit on they're lawns for not sharing you're ideology.

Why do you need to force the ideology that you should give up? What makes yours different from the original problem?

Yeah it sucks when no one will surrender a losing game. Yeah it's annoying when you have enough stubborn people who refuse to give up (I have dealt with and have been this person). But it also sucks when dealing with someone who is just throwing in the towel. No matter the game, it sucks to deal with either of these if they are conflicting with you.

My advice? Grow a thicker skin so you can stop giving a fuck.

Truth, i've been the guy who was playing like crap that game and wanted to surrender, but we didn't and still won. And I've also been the guy who refused to surrender and carried behind teammates to a victory. definitely a game by game thing so throwing out blanket statements will usually be inaccurate.

I never FF. You don't learn anything from it. Sure it sucks, but there is still hope until they are taking your nexus and the team is aced.

No game is lost until it is over.

You are being hypocritical with your belief. You are saying to not force it on the team to not give up. But then here you are saying that they should FF because they are down. Ive been in similar games to this, and we didn't FF and we came back to win. We were down 3 inhibs, and then our jungler stole the baron and we came back to win. Every game is winnable until it is over.

Basically, your point of view to you seems correct, their point of view to them also seems correct, and it's all opinions; no one is right, no one is wrong. I also believe that some games should just be given up, since there is no point and just a waste of time. But I can force others to do the same, apart from just saying how useless and trivial it is to keep trying. Just suck it up, and if the game drags on for longer, just AFK / mess around, or just watch some youtube clip.

While I do personally believe that you shouldn't surrender, for the reason that any game is winnable, and even if the enemy is at our nexus, and you just got aced, it is simply better to let them finish the game, I wholeheartedly disagree with AFking if the surrender vote fails. Its wrong, unsportsmanlike, and purposeless. You say that not surrendering gives you less time to play League? What? What? What?

Sorry, brain shut down for a second. If you don't surrender, your not wasting time. Regardless of whether or not your winning, your still playing.
