Adc has a question.

I'm an adc main. Can't seem to get out of bronze this year so far. I have an itemization question. I'm going people that are pretty good with runaans/BORK. I built an infinity edge second item which really doesn't synergize with the build I don't think? I go B.F. first back to kind of have that extra damage in there (I find it pretty friggin good on tristana/jinx). But then finish the item and go anti tank. Then I end up finishing with I.E. and it's honestly just because I'm programmed to do so. Question is, should I skip that all together? Maybe there is a better item first back? I don't think there is. I don't think Duskblade is really what I want to do since I'm not building lethality and crit just seems stupid if you're not stacking it. Maybe B.T.? Any thoughts guys?

It depends on who you're playing and who you're playing against. On Jinx and Trist, you should typically be rushing Bilgewater first back if possible. If you need to back early, vamp scepter isn't terrible. Rush BORK asap, and then another attack speed item. Usually, hurricane. If they have a lot of melee dive, Phantom Dancer can work too. At this point, check enemy builds. If there's a decent amount of armor, buy last whisper next. If not, NOW is when you want to start your IE

Tristana can and should go BTRK, Runaan and IE in that order without needing to build components of the other before you finish the next items. Jinx goes BF into Runaan finishing IE and then either another crit or armor pen.

Both of them have pretty set builds.

I would not get IE if you are getting BorK and no other crit, too much anti-synnergy. BorK synnergizes with attack speed, which IE doesn't provide, and IE synnergizes with crit. I can't tell you which path to go, as it is adc and game dependent. But my guess is that you only want IE if you are getting more crit, and only want BorK if you're building attack speed.

hey there, i main tristana, and my build path is a bit different. i bo B.F. and boots first. then pickaxe, then i go straight for a ruunans. finnish the ie and botrk afterwards. i find that there is no real point where you are powerless with that itemization, tanks are a bit tricky until blade, but it's between ie and bort its a problem, and even then it really isn't.
