Why do laners think that since you're jungle you gank everyone 24/7?

Junglers have to farm too, and when you're asking for help halfway across the map, I'm not going to gank. (Ex: I'm on my blue buff, and bot lane is spam pinging)

Because you are and I just did this today. Barely play JG anymore and ended up 100x more useful than Hecarim by outganking and counterganking while getting the bare minimum of jungle farm

If you aren't looking for as many gank opportunities as possible you're trolling tbh

Well, I'm being ganked 24/7. Also I can play jungle and gank a ton if the enemy jungler does nothing about it.

Luxanna Ahegao3 votes

because somehow enemy jungler can gank everyone 24/7 but our jungler can't perform

SuicidePlank1 votes

Because ganking 24/7 doesn't set you behind a whole lot these days. Even if you powerfarm, you won't be a higher level, or even the same level as a spam ganking Camille/Xin/Twitch or everything that can gank early.

Because nothing is ever the fault of the player making the bad plays. It's ALWAYS someone else. My botlane just went 3-23 in lane and blamed me because "You went Diana jungle!!". I didn't gank for them because the Trist spent the entire lane flaming her Naut(Who was building full AP), while hard pushing. I'm not gonna dive your fed lane while you type, sorry. I DID however secure dragons, herald, baron, get early first blood and first tower in toplane, control scuttles, invade the enemy Voli's camps steadily, and keep a constant lead(While going 6-3-6). Yet it's my fault that they were literally running it down botlane and couldn't dodge a blitz hook.

Because I know how my lane matchup goes, I told you how it goes in champ select, and I'm being ignored regardless then getting flamed for feeding when I was perfectly clear i would need jungle help or exactly what happened would happen.

Or getting your jungler and yourself an early lead. I play Darius with Ghost/Aatrox Toplane, I have kill pressure on almost anything and I tell my Jungler exactly that. Some are smart and collect 300g with me over and over + plates, some don't.

BECAUSE YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO PLAY AGAINST YOUR MATCHUP. Say it right. It's not your junglers you dont know how to win or at least stay even against your matchup. It's yours.

That's not true. Some Matchups you just can't do anything. I can only speak for myself, but GP vs Xerath/Ziggs/Anivia/Irelia/Darius with Phase Rush and Ghost/Riven/Zed is unplayable. Like legit, either my jungler comes or I won't be able to do anything. Counter Matchups exist, just look at how they dominate Top. What can a Darius do vs Kennen, except wait for a maybe gank?

No, don't be delusional enough to think champion matchups below high diamond matter. It's been proven over and over by higher elo players that matchups below high diamond dont matter. It all comes down to lane knowledge, game knowledge, and execution.

If you seriously believe a challenger gangplank player would not be able to win those matchups in your elo then I cant help you. But if you are realistic, then you know they would win through better lane knowledge, game knowledge, and execution. Now challenger players don't have super powers or special computers, they are just better at the game and you have to figure out what they do to be better, in order to win and improve.

Of course figuring out how to play like a challenger is tough and it's much easier to just blame your jungler in difficult matchups.

Yes, by people who don't belong in these elos, exactly.

I am playing with people in my skill level, I am not a lot better than most of them. There are counter matchups, even a Diamond 1 GP will get killed by a Gold Renekton Player who knows his champion and lose his lane.

Of course figuring out how to play like a challenger is tough and it's much easier to just blame your jungler in difficult matchups.

Why aren't you challenger btw? And I am not blaming my jungler, like ever. I can't influence other players, I play my lane the best I can.

Also, if you want to keep this discussion going, stop trying to get personal, otherwise I won't responde.

NO a Diamond 1 GP will not lose to a gold player on any champ. If you want to believe a Diamond 1 will lose lane to a gold player then you can live happily alone, not responding, in your delusional little world.

YES he will. There is no counterplay against a good Renekton as squishy Champ with no dash, nor hard CC.

A quick google search allowed me to find a vod of a master tier gp SOLO dominating lane against a master tier renekton. Now if a master tier gp can beat another master tier player on renekton. Im sure a Diamond 1 Gp would have a very hard time against a GOLD player.

The "no counterplay" argument doesnt exist in lower elos like gold. Players make lots of mistakes that a better player can spot and capitalize on, and win, regardless of matchup.

Having 1 dimensional thinking of "no counterplay" is exactly how people get hardstuck and never improve because instead of looking for what they couldve done better they pretend that it was unwinnable from the start.

There is still a huge gap between D1 and Master. Also, link please if you make these claims, can you show me that he 100% won his lane alone, without the jungler helping?

That's league basically, so, congratz?

I never said a game is unwinnable, I said certain matchups are. If I face a Renekton at my skill level, there is no way that I win my lane against him, because GP lacks the tools to do so.

Champion Match ups actually do matter below diamond game knowledge lane knowledge an execution are important but match ups are also very important. There are most definitely match ups that are possible to win but the possibility is so small it might as well be a nonexistent chance

Exactly. If you are a way superior player than the other, then champions don't matter yes, but otherwise counterpicks are very important.

The point is that I do know how to stay even, but staying even is not good enough when my main is a feast-or-famine champ. If I go even with a Kassadin as Kat, I lose. If I go even with a Malzahar as Kat, I lose. If I explain that I need help to not go even, and that going even means I lose, and nothing happens all game except me going even, that is not my fault.

If you have your blue, your red, your wolves, and maybe even your raptors, you should be ganking while waiting for things to respawn. Krugs and Gromp aren't worth a whole lot, especially Krugs.

Yes, jungle needs farm like everyone else (save support), but don't confuse spending most of the game farming as helping your team.

Instead of having tunnel vision on every camp in your jungle try and pay close attention to the map. An ally at or near full health with a generous resource supply (if any) pushed to their own turret by an enemy is the prime time to offer assistance. And the sooner the better.

You don't need every camp to win. And, if necessary, you can tax your lanes a little for having provided them help so as to make up for whatever you think you may have lost.

Having jungled extensively in the past, I can tell you that you do not have to gank. But if you want to win then yes, you have to gank.

And if you find your feelings hurt because an ally insults or flames you over how you're playing. Mute them and help them anyway. Because you're not helping them win. You're helping YOU win.

But please, feel free to play the victim.

But if an easy gank is available to you and you'd rather farm those out of the way krugs instead then maybe you ought not to be jungling. Maybe you should try laning yourself for a change for a bit of perspective. I guarantee you that you will experience why it is lanes need and request ganks.

We don't need ganks 24/7, but you don't need to be farming 24/7 either.

Sir Saltarin1 votes

Because that's how you win games, ganking

If the enemy jungler is doing his job and yours is afk farming you will probably lose the game
