Just a little Yasuo change idea

Many champions have ability that doesn't deal tunas of damage while it is the champion's job and/or is plainly utilitary but in exchange, ranking it up also ranks up some passive bonus usually focused on damage. For example, Kalista gets just utility in form of sight from her W while passively she deals %maxhp magic damage attacking the same target as her Oathsworn, while the damage scales with W ranks. Ekko's W slows or stuns enemies, while the damage component is within the passive scaling with ranking up this ability, too. Why can't Yasou have the same thing?

Yasuo's wall is tool of utility and is lower priority is ranking up since his damage is centered within his Q. Meanwhile, he has two passives not relevant to each other (two outstanding passives) that he doesn't need to rank up. Simply 100% increased crit damage. Can't the shield be his primary passive as trait of a fighter/diver (THE passive) while the crit passive moves to W? It might start at around 20% increased crit chace up to the normalized 100%. If it wouldn't be enough, his crit dmg would be reduced by 25% reducing as player ranks up W down to 5% to compensate or 10% to normalize.

At his current state, Yasuo's E has low CD anyway, the damage is not priority (medium base damage scaling with non-primary stat) and provides the same dash, percentage grading, escape and dive regardless the rank; his W works well at width of rank 1 also and is not damage priority and all of his damage is centered at his Q. Since he has no issues hitting 100% crit chance and it applies on-hit effects plus 100%AD ratio with low CD means it is occansional extra "basic attack" with up to circa 200 (including the crit) extra damage. Moving at least part of that damage to other ability might decrease amount of those occasional rants about him because now he is pretty flat to me.

Since it delays his full damage state to circa level 13 (starting all abilities, leveling ult when can, maxing Q then W) it might be too much of nerf for him, but it's just an idea. I understand it might be against his intended behaviour so take it lightly, just suggestion.

Yasuo maxes E first Not maxing Q second would gut your mid game damage output

Samely I could say "Yasuo Main, got it", and it wouldn't help anything.
