Since many challengers and masters are in competitive teams should they not be able to practice with their complete team? Yet Riot removed exacetly that option now? This doesnt make much sense, maybe I am missing something.
Imagine a 5 premade team always playing together and reaching Diamond now all of a sudden they cannot play as 5 anymore.
KillerKell2 votesYou are missing the Queue Times being over an Hour, then putting them into Games with large gaps in MMR because it's hard to match a 5 Man at that level if another equally good 5 Man isn't on.
So they end up facing 2 Challengers and 3 Masters and rolling them, getting almost nothing of value out of the game.
If they can fix Queue Times and Match Making while retaining the ability to Queue 5, there would be no issue... but that's a rather large task.
This Skill Gap isn't nearly as great in Lower Elo, where there are vastly more players in the pool and the Skill Gap isn't nearly as brutal within each Division.
