The randomness in League is ridiculous

Games are a one way stomp an overwhelming majority of the time. I am not saying it is one specific thing but it is getting so frustrating. I think dynamic queue has a lot to do with it but it's not the only thing. The game has a huge player base and with that will be a lot of random action. Regardless of the large player base, dynamic has created two mmrs in the same ranked system - teams of 2s, 3s, and 4s and solos are all squashed together in the same ranking system. Even if 4- man teams play against other 4-man teams the majority of the time, do those players only play 4-man premades? Probably not. That means that the weakest player on a 4-man will have an mmr that does not reflect their solo skill. Furthermore, to reduce queue times (which are still relatively long in Gold) mmr has been relaxed. That is, there is a larger gap in skill base when it comes to matchmaking and it is very noticeable.

Boosting is legal and I don't get it. Teams and solo players should have separate ranking systems. Speculation is the only thing saying that a team-based ranking system would have long queues. And if it does, doesn't that mean that most people prefer soloq? There is no quick fix and some games will still be one-sided, but Riot can fix some of the issues that add up to extremely random games with large mmr gaps that combine team and solo mmr all into one.

Riot doesn't want you know how often you are being thrown with premade groups.

Whether they affect your overall win/loss ratio, they certainly skew the average game to the point where the game experience is often one sided and just not fun. For such a great format (moba) and overall game design, it's really unfortunately to have the game so thoroughly undermined by a matchmaking system that forces a very narrow type of game experience

Over exaggeration of how common premades are and if how it impacts their chance to win.

No, it's really not.

Also, it doesn't prevent people who got to their current MMR through a premade playing solo and ruining games. It happens a LOT especially at particular elos (P1/D5 MMR exactly where many people get boosted to, or S1/G5 MMR for the exact same reason but at the lower bracket) and MANY games are being ruined because of it. Even if a small percentage of people had their MMR raised that way, EVERY SINGLE GAME THEY PLAY is ruined. It's not one game to one player. They will play Ranked and they will feed, and they will play again, and again, and again. And every time they play, four other players get screwed.

You really, really underestimate how bad of an impact these players make. And even past the games that they ruin, it just fosters toxicity as people are pissed that these players are even at that elo (much less on their team) when they had to try their best to be there, just for their games to get randomly ruined. This, combined with the new champion select system means that its even MORE likely for you to get these players game after game because their roles match up with yours (or don't match up is more technical, and therefore fit in a team comp together)

It's a nightmare. It may not have an impact on every single game but it has a significant enough impact to make the game even more stressful and random, especially when you are trying your best and you just get screwed because of these systems in place.

I'm not claiming that I know how many premades are out there. There are a decent amount that I play with given their club tag. And that is not the only way to tell. Since Riot removed this knowledge from third party websites it is almost impossible to tell who is premade. Regardless of if that many people are premade, the mere fact that this system exists - one where solo and team mmr is in the same system - is upsetting.
