I deserve another chance for placements

Riot, why on earth did your matchmaking system end up making me fight a 5-man premade team when I was soloing? I was guaranteed to lose as soon as champ select started. Despite this, I tried my best and played safe knowing that premades tend to have their junglers gank early. But it wasn't enough. They were winning team fights left and right and singled us out one by one. Pinging and typing in chat is nothing compared to actually communicating with people you know by voice. How am I supposed to combat against this?? This is why I'm asking for another shot for a placement match.
