I don't see how that correlates to what you posted, but k.

magic resist and hp regen fit hand in hand. their logic was that movement speed didnt fit with those two stats.

Figuring things out for yourself: pass it on.

As well as the fact it also gave a massive amount of MR that nullified APCs at the time, but let's not read that part I suppose.

item 3135

i did never feel nullified back in S1/S2 as mage(unless i faced a fed mundo/morde, but they nullifyed everyone once fed back then) It also was rarly built in any competetive game, so i hardly belive that it beeing to strong vs mages was the legit reason...

The health regen was based on maximum health, but the item didn't provide any health by itself. That could have easily been their reasoning as well.

the stats didn't synergies, what?!? It'S all you ever want vs poke, ms to dodge skillshts and have an easier engage, MR cause alot longranged poke still is magic(and back then, nearly all poke was magical), and sustain cause it's what you want vs poke. It was a awsome item.

EndlessSorcerer1 votes

That has nothing to do with your "quote". They didn't say anything regarding movement speed. The closest is that "the stats don't synergize with eachother", but that could refer to many things.

Sourcing quotes wasn't really emphasized until late High School and post-secondary education. They'll probably learn it in a couple years.

void staff existed and it still does.

And back then penetration was worse, as flat pen went before %.

And?

unnecessary movement speed?!?

i really hope that wasn't the official riot statement, as the movementspeed was one of the main reasons i loved it. As a tank, you desperatly want movementspeed to be in the right place at the right time, and as a bruiser you want it to stick on an enemie and chase him down.

Haveing no tank item with ms on it actually is a huge issue ever since FoN was removed. The MS was needed, i really would love to see some MS on a tankitem again.

sorry, but a occasional sprint doesn't fill that spot for me, especially not after the nerfs, as the stats RG gives are poor. It's mostly a snowball item that helps you to force fights and oush an sdvantage once your ahead enough to win fights even with a low stat item...

not nearly the same as FoN
