"We won't make video about rework champion " What you mean is we YOU are too lazy to actually work.

Seriously you guys do nothing but some how can't do a rework spotlight? You guys have over 2000 workers but it seems like you pay workers who rarely work at all or improve the game. Took you 2 years for Eternal to come out like that's a joke how the company is being run next you tell us rework champ won't get a spotlight anymore?

It's like you guys hire so much workers where 80% of the work force doesn't even do anything which is funny because they don't. If you look up CLG coach he talks how he went to Riot HQ that there were workers who doesn't do anything or some that got hire for useless positions for example workers who's job is to Introducing and showing people around that are visiting Riot HQ. Can't one of you guys get off your booty from a chair and do it yourself and actually save money to hire a real media team rather then waste it on a person who shows people around taking up income?

To be fair, at this point I find it almost pointless to do spotlights, as sometimes they're irrelevant just one year after their release because of how common mini-reworks are(sometimes even for new champions or straight reworked ones). It's pretty annoying actually.

so seemingly every pantheon player is skill gapped by his rework. it's just funny as shit cause you can't make it up.

I mean I wouldn't call this a useless position. Depending on how many people tour Riot (from my understanding it's a lot, and they also might do this for people looking to get a job at Riot), this position could keep someone pretty busy. If your location has a lot of demand for tours, then hiring tour guides to not only keep people from getting lost, but also make sure that people don't go places they're not supposed to is a smart idea. Also, that person probably isn't paid a whole lot, but it's giving someone a paying job which is never a bad thing.

It happens to every corporation. Nepotism takes over, people start to employ their friends and relatives. There is happines manager in my company and I havent seen her doing anything. She doesnt belong to any department, she doesnt do any reports and she never attended any meetings. IBut she has really nice booty tho.

Riot has an LGBTQ+ department. Not hating on them or anything, just think that it is extremely pointless IMO and i'm sure they have other pointless ones aswell.

What's the point when in a year he'll have half his kit taken away and make the rework look completely insane. Just look at Aatrox, Irelia and Akali no longer having prominent features that they do in the spotlight.

They're too busy playing games to actually work

I thought Eternals took 6 months to make. 2 years before we get anything past mastery 7 is not the same as spending 2 years on Eternals.

They didn't do it because then someone would have had to actually play the dogshit new pantheon and that would have been painful.

Wait...ur kidding me. They are actually removing champion spotlights now? What?

Here is the video detailing the behaviors and coach that the OP references. The part where its explained that Riot employees get paid to play competitors' games (not for research, for FUN) just floored me.

This company is a joke.

Damn, all the stuff that felt like authentic league back when I started is starting to fade away. Hasn't been a login screen dedicated to a new/reworked champ since Sylas if i'm not mistaken either. Unless you count arcade Qiyana being in the login screen, but that isn't really the same. The legendary skins are getting them over the champs at this point lmao. Both Jhin and Pyke got login screens. And now champ spotlights? Shoot it makes me think why I still play sometimes...

Oh well, we got auto chess and paid achievements (the first I've ever encountered in my 15 years of gaming) to keep us tied over till the LC$ gets here.

isn't that a tour guide? Their job also tends to include watching to make sure that no one goes where they are not supposed to.

if anything though, I think it's more odd that it's an entire company, yet its primary product has become less of a concern

Spotlights are nice videos, but they are kinda pointless. Half of what's in it will be obsolete within a year.
