"Rioter has feelings too we shouldn't criticize them"

No, I hate people who kiss up to Riot constantly defending practice that they do which is horrible. This is a reply to the post where a player called gamers out for criticizing the "MF skin". Was it good? Yes but is the price for no hell no of course we are going to call them out.

This is the problem if you don't criticize a company for bad practices then they will think they are always in the right. Will they ignore feed back if we keep on talking bad about certain things? Look at the balance team then, these guys ignore feed back/ ignore the player base as a whole because they think they're smart. Damage is a all time high and will still continue to rise because certain players love to kiss their butt which makes them think they are actually doing a good job.

Don't use the example of Riot will ignore us if we keep on calling them out because they already did 4 years ago with balancing. I forgot to mention how bug the game is which makes me believe Riot is still a indie company.

I mean as long as you aren't just hurling flame, I think its valid to complain about the game's issues. I think the reason you see the defense squad so ready is because you'll see shit like people saying "OMG TOO MUCH DAMAGE IN THE GAME, PYKE IS BROKEN, HOW ARE THE MONKEYS ON YOUR TEAM EVEN IN A JOB YOU SHOULD ALL BE FIRED" where there might be a single vague criticism of aspects of the game but its just a hate piece overall.

If you're complaining about how the game feels ruined for you and you have some strong words alongside good points, I think that's totally valid and deserves support. But yeah, I wouldn't beg for the game's death just because I disagree with the direction personally.

Criticism is necessary. Death threats and harassment are not. The whole 'Rioters have feelings' thing isn't a way of dismissing criticism, its a reminder to a toxic community that the people working at Riot are just human, and even if you don't like something they've produced you should treat them as a human.

Sadly the community trying to tell this company what to do about the game falls on deaf ears. For example, everyone has complained about too much damage for 2 seasons.

And what did they do? More damage and a fffffun execute on Elder buff.

It would be nice if they listened to the overwhelming issues the community brings up at least, I just don't see it happening again this season.

"Riot has feelings" isn't said to dismiss any and all valid feedback. Its to discourage hounding employees, who often having nothing to do with the issue, and being rather merciless. Especially recently with some of the skins like Victorious Aatrox, they went to the twitters of the concept artist and other people who worked on the skin (I think the vfx artist?) and directly just spewed some really awfully mean shit.

FFS Rioters have said they began to hate or even quit their jobs because of community lashback getting to them.

There is constructive criticism, and then there's name calling with gross generalizations.

I think most people, including Riot and the Mods themselves, support constructive criticism. It's people who just want to hurl insults, start name-calling, and throw out gross generalizations at Rioters and Mods, that some of us don't support. Not only is the insults and name-calling childish, but it also doesn't result in change - such threads just get ignored, skipped, or even removed if the vitriol is bad enough. Behaving like an adult and providing constructive criticism could actually result in a thread being read and noticed, subsequently leading to some change.
