First I like the new time by position notification, but if it does not increase the amount of people willing to suppot I have an idea. What if you gave an LP boost, or less of a penalty, for those in the support role?
I feel supports, more than other roles, are way more dependant on the team they get. I cannot for example carry a team like I have seen a yasuro do. Therefore, I feel supports should get some kind of handicap.
Thoughts?
Supports need to be buffed in general Give them more mechanics More ways to interact in lane (I suggested denying masterie many times but hey riot thinks thats toxic... )
People dont play supports because most of them find it boring how little they interact with the game.
Also Supports should be allowed to have way more wards at a time ... Maybe another masterie?
We could use that experience masterie if near allies with higher hp back which they removed

even if you dont have SS, you could always ask your adc to ward too, so i feel the two wards is plenty
When I am warding a bush and my adc warding the exact same spot. Love the light but ... To much XD
More seriously, it will feel cool to have more wards. Maybe 5 instead of 4. But I don't think supports should denying masteries cause the champions are already strong enough to do things on there own. Also, if you find support to be boring, just find the right champion for you. ^^

The best way to get support played more is to have bonus LP for wins. This would encourage players to support more since it would increase their climb rate.
Not more LP but perhaps more IP. I don't think LP is something we should toss out as a freebie. But IP is
