Pick intent should not be bannable by own team

Its so iritating when some troll on your team bans the champion you had the intent to play. Makes me afk for pick intent all the time now because people just troll you when they know what you want to play. Kind of counter intuitive this system dont you think? Not to mention its a huge waste of time to get games started.

Just because last picks intends to play Zed does not mean I want to leave him open.

Well, it's not always trolling. If your jungler wants Xin, but she's last pick, there's a very good chance that the other team will pick it away first; if you don't want to play against it, you'd have to ban it despite their intent.

Well, I mean, if I see somebody pick intent Lee Sin on my team, I automatically get the urge to ban it, just because letting them have it is a crapshoot of whether or not I get lp this game

It's not trolling if your intent is to play Udyr, Zed, Xin, Jhin (on release) etc. and there's a chance that the other team can take it.

But maybe you want to play Teemo jungle and it gets banned because a person doesn't want to play with a Teemo jungle? Yeah you can blame Riot for that one. R.I.P Team Builder 2016. Gone but never forgotten.

Well I mean, if your last pick wants a certain high-ban champion, why don't you guys offer to trade?

On the other hand, I can agree that high-threat champions should indeed be banned, BUT I've seen far, FAR too many people ban champions just because they don't agree with it.

'I hate Shaco jungle, and you're not playing it.'

Of course, trolls are gonna troll. But it does help for those serious games. You can't stop trying to move forward because a few are holding you back.
