Brand: death fire touch VS thunderlord's
Which one are you using? Which one is more efficient?
Once again, too lazy to do that math haha. I'm updating runes & masteries, therefore I'm seeking for current trends & opinions.

DFT is a must on Brand imo
For the first couple minutes TLD may be slightly better, but once you get a little bit of AP, DFT begins to outscale TLD by a LOT on Brand due to his Passive.
if you are support brand go TLD , imo.
If you are mid, go dft, cuz u can afford deathcap and shiz
DFT is much much better on him. TLD may be better before getting your first item but DFT outscaled much more because of his passive and the fact that every ability adds a DoT. Even as support brand it scaled better right around midgame.
It's all preference honestly.
Death fire does more damage overall and scales hard as you build more AP.
Thunderlords is fun for support, because I enjoy getting the combo and messing with the other support. Plus when you land the E, Q, empowered W + thunderlords, it's hilarious watching them explode with virtually no AP at all.

Thunderlords is better in a game with more thunderlords. Ergo, the more times it fires in a single fight, the better the overall AoE burst of it. Deathfire is better for a single player, scaling into a much more sufficient dps end-game.
The real one to consider is the mastery before them. You can go Pen (%AD, %AP, Hybrid Flat, OR 5%CDR which also raises CDR cap)
Honestly, I usually just go with Thunderlords for the bonus on the CDR cap. It's subtly broken.
