League is not football lmao. If you're behind in a football the enemy team will have a morale advantage but they won't have a bunch of stat increases that will make it easier for them to score and harder for you to score. A comeback is still possible. In League a comeback is 90% of the time impossible and it is a waste of time to even try.
Thanks for clearing that up. I was wondering why my team was yelling at me as I was searching the map, getting caught out trying to find the football that our ADC/Quarterback fumbled.
[zombie-brand-facepalm]
Of course it isn't football. But I was comparing to team games to one another.
A Comeback is always possible the problem is no one in low elo knows how to do it. They just think that jumping in on an already fed team and trying to ace them is the right way. You have to catch up on gold and items and wait for the enemy to make a mistake or get out of position and capitalize on that. So many players too won't help ward, and won't even buy a control ward or if they do it's just one in early game. Vision is crucial, especially if behind.
I play Siege and CS in ranked where I also have teammates. The penalty for leaving ranked in CSGO is a 30 minute restriction from just ranked. In Siege it's the same thing but it's 15 minutes. Despite the basically non existent punishment people don't leave nearly as much as league. I think it would be better to look into that and ask why league has such a leaver problem to begin with.
Glad you're happy with Siege and CSGO's punishements if you leave. Riot has clearly put how they handle people that leave and it's fair. It's not like they were hiding it and surprised you with a ban. You knew the punishments and did it anyways.
These "crazy leave penalties" have been around since I've been playing since S3 and probably longer...it isn't new.
