AFKS in Ranked = My Demotion

Every time I get to gold 2 I get demoted because every game I get an AFK, either they troll feed then afk or just straight up have connection issues then quit. . Whats worse is I play adc and its usually my supp or jungler that goes afk.

Happens EVERY TIME i get back to gold 2 and its disgusting I can even LOSE FAIRLY.

These players need serious bans or consequences because im getting WAY too many AFKS in my ranked its unbelievable and It really puts me off playing league.

I would rather a toxic flamer Or a feeder then AFK because you know your just a man down and theres nothing you can do for half an hour or 40 min your stuck in a game which is a lost cause its so annoying.

Riot won't do anything because there is no value in fixing it.

I can honestly say its not about where you are in rank you run into this problem almost everywhere its not just you.

Your teammates and all of their traits are a reflection of you as a player because it's your mmr.

Your demotion is a product of mmr.

Won't catch me complaining, or getting hardstuck either.

I just got out of a game where the the ADC threw a fit pregame because of my supp choice. Said they were afking.. came back into the game and just ran it down mid the whole match.

Spent all week fighting to get to Iron 1... Next three games after that were 4v5's throwing me back down..

It's been this same pattern for the last few years.

The game basis your progress off the actions of the team.. and 9/10 your team just doesn't give a shit about winning.

They can't climb, so they drag you down with them.

I was hoping Iron would have created a whole new level below the current bronze players.. but they just shoved everyone down in bronze into iron..

Now I'm in a rank so low that 90% of the players just don't give a shit because they want to drag you with them.

I'm literally clawing my way through every win.. but it's an uphill battle.

To Ban or not to Ban. That is the question.
I tend to agree with you. Something needs to be done to hold people accountable. I have quit playing as frequently because of it.

Until theres a problem with afkers in competitive play, Riot dont see a issue.
