Weather Changes! on the the rift!

We all loved it when occasionally the rift would change to snowy, or Halloween themed right? Being an original player since season 1 I appreciated the occasional change of scenery; it made it more interesting too play from the typical 'plain midday' theme.

We know how long it would take you riot to conjure up a new map with all the champs you have scheduled and patch updates.

However I believe all of us, including the minions! ** Would Love a slight difference made to the map every other week or even during the week. Be it one week its raining harshly on the map, or more sunny, or even there's slight frost and a mild blizzard- and you can see the champs breath in the cold air. Not Blitzcrank he don't breath.**

It would not only make the game more exciting (battling ferociously during a storm) but also make the game more realistic, maybe even some champs gaining buffs from the change of weather?

This is something I have thought of for a while now and it being pre season this is the perfect time to implement this scheme which all players will surely enjoy! Peace out Teemo

It does rain on the rift, go to another part of the jungle, the map is so dynamic, with different trees looking different! :^)

Of course this would be cool for them to have drastic weather changes, but think about how many extra moving particles there would be flying around the map if it were raining.

Many of us have systems that can handle an addition like this, but the majority do not.

Perhaps this would work if they would integrate a setting along with this possible change, such as "Turn weather effects off".

Still, they want this to run at least somewhat well on a majority of systems before anyone even fine tunes their graphics settings, so this may be worrisome to Riot in regards to first time players being immediately "turned off" from the game due to sitting at like 10 fps as soon as they load into their first match.

Why not dynamic map changes? These can be used to affect gameplay (targetable trees to block off certain entrances, can be destroyed or new entrances created). Some champs, such as Ziggs, could blow up parts of the map even. Some ults, such as the one Ziggs has, actually, could create craters or just changes in the map that may wear over time.

Large idea, and while I don't know that it's the best, I do think it'd be kinda cool.

In any case, support on the weather change.
