finding it difficult to cs as kennen

whenever i play this guy its really hard to get last hits compared to other characters that i play like lissandra. i dont have issues with other characters but i had a game yesterday where i chose kennen and i literally missed every minion in the first wave except for one...... i usually start dorans shield should i go blade to make it a bit easier?
